Editorial Research

You may wish to use the services of our in-house Editorial Researcher to help you compile your text. The Editorial Researcher can help you with a range of tasks relating to the editorial content including help on structuring your contents, sourcing information or even starting from scratch on a new project.

Cartography

Burrows produces street plans, location maps, area maps and flat maps to almost every scale and specification. We primarily use vector based graphics software to enable the results to be produced in different media including printed and electronic forms.

Different styles of maps can be created to suit different applications. For example, a town centre map will be designed in a very different way to a county map or street plan. Burrows has hundreds of examples that we have created over the years which can help in deciding the best presentation method for each client.

Ordnance Survey has licensed Burrows as a Local Authority Contractor. We use GIS mapping formats and digital systems allowing us to make the most of the Ordnance Survey methods and services. We have authority from Ordnance Survey to use their digital mapping as base data for the production of maps for all purposes.
