The Arts Institute at Bournemouth The Arts Institute at Bournemouth focuses exclusively upon creative work in contemporary, art, design and media.The Institute''s courses have won national awards, such as the Queen's Anniversary Prize. It is a Centre of Vocational Excellence for Lens-based Media and students benefit from some of the best teaching and resources in the country. Workshops and studios are fully equipped to the latest in industry standards.

The Enterprise Pavilion Based on the campus of the Arts Institute at Bournemouth. It is a brand new purpose-built business incubation facility for graduates from Higher Education institutions in the South West of England who wish to set up business in the creative industries.

Bournemouth University Bournemouth University has a strong tradition of working with businesses and supporting the development of the business base in Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch and East Dorset. The University works extensively with both private and public sectors and large and small organisations.
With the aim of supporting the knowledge base within the area, the University makes its expertise in a range of specialisms available to assist businesses with their development and to gain access to and develop a pool of highly educated and skilled workers.

Bournemouth University Innovation Centre also provides flexible accommodation and support for newly established knowledge-intense businesses, particularly in the fields of information technology and digital media.
Shell STEP Shell STEP is a national scheme designed to help small and medium sized businesses and community organisations develop their potential by using the skills of undergraduates during the summer vacation at an affordable cost. Bournemouth University manages the scheme for Dorset.
The programme places self-managing, enterprising second year students in companies to complete a specific project identified by the business during an eight week placement in July and August and is part of a national programme to find the UK's Most Enterprising Student.
Eligible companies taking part can apply for a subsidy from Business Link towards the cost of the student's training allowance.
